Spek™ professional instruments are all electric and microprocessor controlled. The Wide-Angle Dial™ design creates a 15% larger viewing area on a 2 1/6" gauge. This is accomplished by adding a shoulder at the faceplate to create a 60mm dial. The faceplate illumination is programmable to one of seven colors to blend in with original manufacturer's gauges. Spek™ professional gauges feature high intensity LED technology and patent pending light distribution, and both the dial and pointer illumination are individually adjustable for day and night driving. Gauges are available in various combinations of black, white or silver faces, clear or smoked lenses, and black or chrome bezels.
Stepper motors are supplied for accurate pointer reading of a 280° sweep and control of returning the pointer to zero when power is removed. Gauges are programmed through water-resistant stainless steel sealed command keys located on the faceplate. No control boxes or hand-held remote control needed. Peak playback values can be retrieved, high and low alert levels set, and programmable output signals activated. Spek™ gauges come with a plug receptacle for connecting the sender wiring harnesses. This plug and play technology significantly decreases installation time.
The Spek™ line of performance gauges are designed to monitor critical engine functions and, if necessary, initiate an output signal to start corrective actions by activating relays. The 2 1/16" gauges have the capability of three output signals.
Instruments include wiring harness with plug-in design. Optional output control module available. All Spek™ instruments have a 12-month warranty.
