We've been a sponsor of the Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH and title sponsored the Fun Ford events. I can tell you first hand, having doing events like this all over the country for years, never have we had a show of this magnitude run so smoothly! Hats off to the Bader family and crew and also to Bill Alexander and his Fun Ford crew for a job well done! The Bader family has done an excellent job at putting this track at the top of the ranks. Hospitality is what the Bader family is known for, and Mary Roamer and Bobbi Bader make sure everything runs as smooth as possible. As for the Fun Ford crew, I can’t thank Bill, Tom and Pat enough for putting the FTK name out there. Excellent job, guys! Special thanks to Frank Cicerale from Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords for the feature photo shoot, Drew Phillips from Mustang Life for the photo shoot, Classic Muscle Car for the TV interview and Bill Alexander for the Fun Ford interview as well! We are very proud to be a part of such a wonderful group of people and look forward to many years as a sponsor and attendee!
Full Throttle Kustomz shows at many of the Fun Ford Weekend Events nationwide, but have only been to one FFW Finals. Texas holds the Fun Ford Weekend World Finals. The weather was in the blistering high 90’s and despite the forecast for rain, it actually held off. With that being said, all in all, FTK faired well considering the obstacles at hand. The FTK Shelby placed 10th in the “True Street” class on Saturday and won the fastest 12 second car bracket. Which, in a way, is disappointing because the lack of traction and extreme heat made our 10 second car a 12 second Sunday driver! On Sunday the FTK Saleen launched a little too hard out of the hole and broke out by 3/10ths for a loss in the semi finals. Congratulations to Ray Jr., a.k.a. Slik, making his first ever appearance into bracket racing, for finishing third out of 60+ cars. I would like to thank all of the Fun Ford crew for an awesome experience. Keep up the good work!
